Celebration day!

3 May

Today I attended a banquet for those who have received a prestigious award, mine being the Boren. I’m also an alternate for the Rangel Summer Enrichment program but there’s a pretty slim chance anyone would turn that down. Hopefully I’ll be attending the same banquet next year for getting the Truman fellowship or Pickering undergrad fellowship. I just want to go to school without loans but then again who doesn’t.

Also has anyone applied for the State Dept Pathways internship program? I really want to find out a little more about it besides what the website says. I really need at least one internship BEFORE I graduate in 2 years.

This summer I believe I’m going to go Middlebury language school for Japanese if financial aid pulls through. Has anyone done it for the summer? Did you learn a lot? Did people really stick to the language pledge? Sorry for my question filled blog today.
